The Empire of Yellonia is a nation on the continent of Solesia, in the world of Terra. Founded in 1643 after the 1st Solesian Civil War, it began as a loose union of states before unifying under a single Emperor. Today it is a constitutional empire made up of twenty states, governed by an Emperor, an elected Parliament and the Imperial Supreme Court, and it sees itself as the force that keeps Solesia stable.

Founding[edit | edit source]
The Empire was founded by IronOoof after his victory in the 1st Solesian Civil War in 1643. In its first years it was a loose grouping of states, each with its own currency and laws, bound together as a democratic nation whose purpose was to keep the continent stable.
Unification[edit | edit source]
The arrangement did not hold. After ten years of in-fighting between the states, they agreed to unify under a single Emperor. IronOoof became the first Emperor of Yellonia.
Parliament[edit | edit source]
In 1923, Parliament was established to handle the making of laws and to make sure the citizens of Yellonia had real power in the nation.
Modern era[edit | edit source]
In the late 1970s, the Red Resistance began forming in the south of the country out of labor circles and underground political cells. It has since grown into the Empire's most serious internal threat. Together with the Atomic Front, it now holds entire southern states, with contested cities and nuclear fallout zones between them.
Government[edit | edit source]
The Empire's government has three main bodies.
The Emperor[edit | edit source]
The Emperor is the Commander-in-Chief of the Imperial Armed Forces. The Emperor accepts or denies laws passed by Parliament and handles changes to government that don't require a law. If the Emperor becomes unavailable or leaves office, the Viceroys choose one of their own to become the next Emperor.
Parliament[edit | edit source]
Parliament writes the Empire's laws. It has 80 seats, of which 17 are open to election, and is chaired by the Speaker. The Chancellor leads the government and chairs the Imperial Cabinet, which oversees the ministries:
Imperial Supreme Court[edit | edit source]
The Imperial Supreme Court (ISCOY) interprets the laws and the Constitution. It has five judges, nominated by the Chancellor and approved by the Emperor.
State Security Directorate[edit | edit source]
The State Security Directorate sits outside the ministries and answers directly to the Emperor. It commands the Imperial Guard:
- 1st IG-Regiment "Emperor"
- 2nd IG-Regiment "Viceroys"
- 3rd IG-Regiment "Governance"
- 8th IG-Regiment "Grandslayers"
Other parts of the Directorate are classified.
Geography[edit | edit source]
Yellonia lies on Solesia. The southwest of the continent is desert, and the north is colder and more sparsely settled. Much of the south is held by hostile factions.

Armed Forces[edit | edit source]
The Imperial Armed Forces are commanded by the Emperor and overseen by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, with the Joint Staff handling administration. They are organized into five branches:
- Army: 1st Infantry Division, 3rd Armored Division
- Special Forces: 5th Special Forces Group, 7th Special Forces Group, Ceres Special Missions Unit
- Navy: 2nd Fleet, 6th Marine Division
- Air Force: 4th Air Combat Division, 9th Helicopter Operations Division
- Military Police: Ceremonial Guard, Coast Guard, Air Police
